Sage Grant Writing & Consulting LLC believes that nonprofits are the critical link in driving positive change in the world. And grants can be the difference in whether nonprofits are able to effect change or not. Unfortunately, grants can be time-consuming and intimidating. Oftentimes, staff is too busy to write compelling proposals. That is where Sage comes in: we help nonprofits get the funding they need so that nonprofit staff can focus on delivering mission-driven programs. Learn more about our services or contact us.

Sage Grant Writing was founded by Holly Loff, GPC. Holly spent most of her career working in the nonprofit sector. After serving in a variety of capacities in the sector, she gained an understanding of its challenges (and joys). She found early success and enjoyment in grant writing and was inspired to learn more by taking workshops and graduate classes. Now, as a consultant, Holly enjoys working with nonprofits from a wide array of focus areas. Therefore, she doesn’t specialize in any one area. However, Holly’s background is in natural resource conservation. She was the executive director of a watershed organization in a Colorado Headwaters community and watershed health, water security and climate change are still areas of passion for Holly.
When she isn’t working with clients or writing, Holly enjoys hiking, trail running, skiing, rafting and reading. She lives in Eagle County, Colorado with her husband and two teenage kids.
Holly Loff is a member of the Grant Professionals Association (GPA). She is on the board of the Colorado Chapter of GPA, serving as its treasurer and a member of the programs committee. She earned the Grant Professionals Certified (GPC) credential in 2023.
